Title: Drum Sander Paper
Post by: JGR1269 on July 15, 2020, 11:25:16 AM
I just ordered a new drum sander and it will be here tomorrow. I was wondering what grit paper you guys are using to make your tapers? I’m not sure what grit comes with it but I’m guessing it’s finer than what I should be using.

In my experience 120 clogs morning much faster. I like 60 or 80 grit much better

I've used 36 grit on backed bows, trilams and such, but use 50 or 60 on glass bow lams.
