Title: thunderhorn quiver and beman mfx shaft
Post by: phil_des_bois on April 18, 2008, 07:51:00 AM
Hi guys,

I couldn't find any thread on this topic, so here I post. How do you guys deal with skinny shafts like axis or mfx and the thunderhorn bow quiver which does not seems to have several types of gripper ?

Thanks,
Phil

Have you checked with Thunderhorn?  I think they do offer a replacement gripper for the skinner shafts.

I have used rubber bands stretched between two gripper to tighten them up for a long time on my Great Northers.  Thunderhorn sells a simmilar item for their grippers.  I think they are $1.00

Go to the pharmacy and ask for surcial tubing(the bigger size, about 1/2" thick) and buy 12". Cut it about 3/8" lengths and stretch it over your arrow grips.Should work on any quiver. Ken

I got some of the rubber bands that Thunderhorn make for the quiver for just that purpose. I called and had them in two days.

Thanks guys, so I guess I'll place an order for a linx quiver and I will order the rubber band at the same time.
