I got my LB back, and what a great job Mr. Couch did. I saw a small spot on the limb that absorbed water, so I asked him about it. He said send it back I will refinish it, I stand behind my work. Great customer service, and I love the bow. I have since I won it at JLMBH 07.
The new limbs are 56@28, the old are 45@28, the bow is 62". He even personalized it for me! If anyone has one of his bows, throw a pic into this thread. I would love to see more of his work...
A great man to deal with and a great bow. I cant wait to get it out into the deer woods again. Thanks for looking.

Very nice. Have you started shooting again Jamie?
Yes I have...pain or no pain. I have to shoot.
Glad to see your bow is home and good as new.Might wanna stick with the lighter limbs for now so you don't hurt yourself too bad.
Very nice...good to hear you're shooting again bud....but like Jeff said, keep it light....
Nice bow! ;)
Yeah I decided the same thing guys. 45 for me for a while, atleast until I feel back to normal.
Just in time for turkey season...
Jamie nice looking but please tell me what kind of white tree in background. We don't have white trees in La.Kip
Jamie, don't hurt your self with heavy limbs or i will be forced to come and get them. lol :bigsmyl:
KIP-thats a white birch.
Harold, Im going to work up to the new limbs. I have to be honest...Im dying to shoot them, but I decided to err on the side of caution and stick with the lighter ones for now. Great to have it back and to be shooting again. Thanks again!
No other pics out there?

Yep. Will post one as soon as I get it out of my turkey blind.
Built in '95 for Charlie Bare. 62" 57# @ 28" "Moose Bow" This bow is very easy to shoot. I think due to the large grip.

Nice Hoytman! Any luck with the birds?
I couldnt help it today. I shot with the local trad group today with the 45# limbs. I was feeling pretty good after a few practice muzzy rounds. I got home, put the new limbs on and WHOA....I cant even see the arrow until it hits! I know they are 12 # heavier, but they dont feel it to me. Man do they smoke an arrow. The bow is still whisper quiet too...I love this bow!
Well, I can't post pictures but I have 5 or 6? of Harold's bow. Three (3) others here also shooting a Couch bow. I've killed whitetail (130 class) rabbit, fox and squiell? with by TD recurve 51@27" and I use it to hunt ELK and Bear!!
Thats a nice collection too bad you cant post pics. I have yet to draw blood with mine, although I helped my buddy with a rabbit earlier this year. Its coming though...
Jamie, good to here all is well with you.
here is the one i hunt with (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/hdc123/37a471a9.jpg)
another one (http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b242/hdc123/64dd9aa2.jpg)
Very nice! Im liking each one, they all seem different.
Harold i would love to try that last recurve. How big around is the throat. I owned the bow Jamie won at my hunt for a while. Quietest bow I have shot, that and a 7 lakes. Shawn
Shawn, i don,t have the bow any more, but i do remember that it was small in the grip.
it was the best looking bow i have made, the curve was all free hand, no jigs, man was that a job. take care Harold
I still think it is super queit Shawn-both sets of limbs. I shot a bit today. Those heavier limbs are awesome. Im going back down to the 45#'s though....no sense in hurting myself and starting all over with this stuff.
Again Harold, great looking bows. I have yet to see one that ishard on the eyes, and Im sure they all shoot as good as they look.
Jamie, i want to see pictures of some aminals this coming season, dead aminals that is .
good luck and keep me posted
