[attachment=1,msg2916915]Great day to get in touch with my gourmet side.
Sausage, venison summer sausage and pickled eggs.
Yum
They sure look good. Could I get a takeout order?

Forgot to put this picture on.
Just had to go and do that...
That's ok, I'm frying up a batch of snook shortly.
The food looks awesome! Everything tastes better cooked over a fire.
And that's a great idea for a fire ring! I never thought of pavers. My 30+ year old steel fire pit is more rust holes than steel. It's been the gathering site for many deer hunts and bow shoots.
Do you deliver?

Easy to make and not very expensive.
Just get the bottom layer fairly level and build up as far as you want.
Line the inside with that weed barrier cloth stuff and fill with sand / dirt to the level you want and your done.
The cloth let's the water drain out without washing the dirt out.
And if you want to move it, you can.
PS: It can be funny when your wife mows around it with your tractor.
She was in a panic after one side collapsed.
Took me about ten minutes to fix it.
Looks good.
I have that T-shirt, got quite a lecture at ETAR from a lady that didn't think in was appropriate.
Some people just don't have a sense of humor.
That is what I like about Boy Scout campouts. Everything gets cooked over the fire.
