Myself, the other Coaches and the Cardinal Archery in Schools Kids want to thank Gene for taking time out of his busy schedule to come and visit with them about Archery and Bowhunting. This is our Schools first year in competitive Archery. We took 41 School Kids to the Whitetail Classic in Des Moines, IA in March to compete at the State level. 26 of these kids won State Titles while several others placed in the top 5 Individually. We are taking 37 Kids to Louisville, KY to Compete at the National Archery in Schools May 10th. Even though there bows are not quite Traditional (as we call it now) the Kids shoot no sights and fingers. Thanks again for taking time for these Kids Gene, it meant alot to us. The New Condensed Version of Primal Dreams will be watched on the Charter Bus as we travel to Kentucky.

All those kids doing so well must make you feel pretty good as a coach! Excellent job by everyone. That GW is an OK guy too :saywhat:

To ALL involved-Congrats!!
Court, pass on my best wishes to the kids and I am praying for a safe trip for all of you! Mike
Next time some of you guys start bragging about the big name compounder hero and how much he's done for the sport, come back here and see what giving back really means!
Nice that is what it is all about!! That is awesome keep up the good work!!

THats cool...Id love to start one of those down this way! Mark#78
Way to go Attaboy to everyone that is helping out.
We have talked about youth hunts offered by many clubs that basically get their attendies from the youth of club members. That is OK and needed, but it is good to see groups reaching out with a pro hunting message to young archers, many of them who have never been exposed to hunting at all. These are the young ears and eyes we need to reach. Good job to all.
Here's Gene explaining and demonstrating to the Kids about an atalatl (sp?). Not saying Gene is old but one can't help in wondering if this is what Gene & Barry used before the invention of the bow and arrow? (HeHe)
