I just feel I need to make a post. I want to thank everyone that has supported Tradgang over the years. We would not be here. And I'm not talking just monetarily. Those of you that have shared tips, hunts, stories, advise, etc... You all have helped make Tradgang what it is.
As we deal with this madness, I hope you all will continue to support this now 'institution' we all have created over the the last 17 years. I had no idea this would have occurred when we started back in March 2003.
There is so much history on this site with over 3 million posts. Some of the new members have no idea at the wealth of information that has been accumulated.
We are so lucky to have had contributions over the years from the likes of Ron Laclair, Charlie Lamb, Jack Howard, Jim Fetrow, Gene and Barry Wensel, Biggie Hoffman, Dennt Sturgis Jr, Dean Torges, Ted Fry, Mike Fedora Sr, Bob Morrison, Cory Mattson, Matt Schuster, Fred Asbell, Ryan Rothhaar, Don Thomas, and get this, John Rook who went blind had someone read Tradgang to him. Pretty special company we are with.
I'd like to also thank all those that have contributed to this site via Sponsorships and Contributing members.
Mostly, I wish all of you the best as we battle through the next few months.
Take care....
Sincerely,
Terry Green

Nothing like sitting around a campfire with friends and TG is our virtual campfire and a place we can feel safe to be.

Trad Gang is an excellent community of terrific people. Thanks, Terry, for all you do to make it a terrific place to share our interest in traditional archery and bowhunting.

This site has really helped me all through the years, but is now especially important. I am very high risk for the virus, so I am staying in. Consequently, I am very glad to have Trad Gang available to pass the time. Thanks, guys.

And I can remember back in the day when this was just a dream of yours, Terry, and a lot of those guys you just mentioned were members of Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia. The good old days...I for one am glad your dream came true!
-
Follow your dreams, Mr. Green I'm glad you did.

This is an excellent community. Every time I ask for a bit of advice or have a question I get an overwhelming amount of responses. I haven't been here the longest, and I definitely don't post all that often, but I am truly grateful for the people here and the resource it provides. Thank you to everyone involved.

I don't post much because I'm kind of "low tech", and living in an isolated community our Internet service is often unreliable - but if I'm not in the bush, I always check out TradGang.
I sincerely appreciate TradGang... among other reasons, it allows me to feel much closer in spirit to you all than I am geographically.

Thank you Terry and to everyone I hope all is well with you all.

Thanks guys and Terry for helping me through these days.
It's a honor just to be here.

You don't have any idea how this site and a couple others that I visit everyday has helped me while I was at the Mayo clinic watching my wife get ate up with cancer. When she would dose off I would grab my tablet and visit these sites.
Terry, you provided some good needed medicine for me during a very trying time. And now that she went to heaven I still check things out everyday.

Your timing and wording of this post was just perfect Terry....

This is the perfect time to be planning a hunt. I have always kept a carrot out there to plan for. It keeps the mind focused and a goal. Whether it's a DIY out of state hunt or a hunt coming up in the home state. It also will help those who get depressed easily. I've never had that problem but, I know some do. Always keep a positive attitude and keep your mind busy focusing on an activity in the future.

Ya a lot of uncertainty right now in the world but I’ll say I’m just proud to be a part of this great gang!

Thank you for opening this website and forum, great stories and experience.
In these crazy times and people out of work, it maybe time to reopen the classifieds to ALL MEMBERS. Some may need to sell some of their gear to survive.

Not going to reopen that can of worms, snakes and spiders. You have no idea what we went through. I can tell you that you wouldn't have put up with it either. Now in these times there would be MORE scammers screwing members.
Have a read.....

Trying to get my mind on turkey hunting opening April 15. I guess I am one of the lucky ones still at work so will have to plan around this. I am glad that my hunting is solitary but I miss shooting at the archery range.

I've been hanging out here for twelve years now and I know we will get thru this mess. When it's all over we need to have a real campfire.

My states house arrest does not prevent hunting. So that's what I've been doing.
-
I’d have to travel 2 1/2 hours to hunt, but I ay take a camping and hunting trip soon. Might even throw the kayak in back of truck as well.
