Cut these off my off cut pile from slabs, they turned very clear and tight grained.
These are edge grain. With very small pin knots. Some of the best I’ve seen in awhile.

Nice looking Yew
It's pretty tan looking in your picture, has it been around for a while?

It is more red in real time. They are dry and from old downed Yew from the Oregon Coastal range. Very straight grained and tight rings. Very small
Pin knots at mid limb and tip area. Excellent clean yew.
