Title: Help ID Make of an old Longbow
Post by: SkookumDon on February 29, 2020, 12:58:12 PM
I have an old English long bow that appears to be a factory model as the specs are stamped into the bow. Does anyone know what bowyer/company made this bow? Thanks.

Looks like lemonwood, 68" long, 40#@28", men's bow and looks like an american longbow style.  Lots of companies made these lemonwood bows. An ELB style lemonwood bow I have was made by Woodcraft Equipment Company, later becoming York Archery. Mine was made between 1930 and 1940 and cost $7.00 at that time.
