Just received my new Classic Hunter II 54" 50#. After a few arrows to dial it in, I was pleased at how accurate I could shoot it. Tapered cedar, Beman MFX 400 and Victory Carbon Trad 450 all hit "the spot" where I was looking at 15 yards. I also shot these three arrows with my broadhead setups with Simmons Treesharks and Zwickey Deltas. Really impressed with how well they flew and again hit right where I was looking, not right, not left, not high or low. The handle fits me just right, it could not be any more comfortable.
This bow is like a fine 3 weight flyrod when you handle it but it really zips the arrow out at my 28" draw. I have always shot longer bows and wanted to try something shorter. I can't wait to start shooting deer with it.

I have heard nothing but good things about these bows. Your report sounds like a go to bow for sure. I am currently in love with my 54” pika, but have been thinking about a Shrew also.

One day I’ll get another short bow. I enjoyed the one I had. Shrews are hunters for sure!
