I used my tax return to buy a new (to me) Blacktail Snakebit. But, I ended up not liking the bow. I couldn't shoot it for crap! So, I was lucky enough to have a friend who just happened to want the bow... something about it being his dream bow. And, he just happened to have my magic bow (Marriah Thermal) sitting on his rack. First bow I ever shot. So, two trades later... and my tax return worked out!

Economic stimulus right!

Greg

Yep, a Black Widow PL II in greybark, 45-50@28. My Christmas to myself was a Tomahawk Diamond Series Desert Fox, 64", 55@28". I love it but have wanted a Widow for a long time.
Hey, whatever I can do for the economy, right?

Bought a Schafer, not new but $850. I should have it Monady, it has only 50 arrows thru it though, so it counts! Shawn

put away the tax rebate for oil next winter and gas so I can still make my hunting trips. Being retired on a fixed income, sucks at times.

I say this now, but I always have wanted another checkmate firebird 45 lb peak weight....when that check comes in the mail will have to look at the income factor again.

My friend is getting a used takedown bow with his stimulus package.  He's calling it his "Bush" bow.

I'm going to get a DB blind and I'm calling it my "Bush" blind.

As much as I'd like a new Striker T/D longbow, I'm afraid mine is going for tires and shocks, and a 1/2 a tank of gas. Gotta' keep the wheels turning to get to Trad shoots.
