Title: Black Widow brace height

I recently purchased a 1969 black widow recurve and can’t find the correct brace height for this era of bow. I strung the bow with a new string and my brace height is 7.5”. The current recommendation from Black Widow is 8.25-9”; does this height apply to my bow as well?

I would give Black Widow a call. They would certainly know.
