Ok my wapiti takedown top limb splintered, Im kinda worried if it will shoot as good with different limbs? I think accuracy comes from riser and how it fits your hand, in your guys thinking is this correct?

I would contact Keith Chastain about getting replacement limbs. He has a good warranty and stands behind his work.

I wouldn’t worry about new limbs at all. I had extra limbs for a Tall Tines Stickflinger and a set for a Tall Tines recurve. Both shot as good as the original, if that is what you are wondering about.

Thanks for replies and Keith is making me another set. Ive just noticed that even with same make some bows just seem to shoot better? I sure hope it shoots the same because it was a shooter.

It they are the same specs you should fine !!
-
I think the grip is key but agree some bows from the same bowyer shoot different.
-
I switch limbs occasionally on ILFs and find they shoot the same but feel is different with different limbs. Some are faster, some are smoother, some are easier to draw, etc.
-
Over the years I have also had "sweeter" shooting limbs than other limbs, never have figured out why though. Might be tiller all though they both tuned good.

Well I guess will know when new limbs come, will let everyone know how it turns out. Thanks for responses
