My RINOBLOCK target was getting a bit beat up, so I bought a new target center replacement.
The new target center came with a length of plastic tube -- What is that for?
The target center is not a tight fit so it slides out pretty easily -- What is up with that?
The paint on the target insert rubs off and stains the front of my arrows -- Can I remove the paint from the target without ruining it?
The target face paint is so neon bright that picking a spot is almost impossible because it is so visually distracting -- Can I remove the paint from the target without ruining it?
I can't be the only Trad Gang member who has tried a Rinoblock target insert. Who can offer some information?

If you put your green hog light over it that might mute the the neon brightness down...just kidding as I have no idea how to fix it for you :)

I have one and also replaced the center insert. My original insert came with a plastic tube that ran from the outer shell of the target into the insert. I assume this was to help hold it in place. I couldn’t figure out how to install it in the new insert, so I gave up. The new insert slides backwards after many shots, and I occasionally push it back in so it is flush. My insert fits tightly enough that it isn't a real big issue, but it is annoying that a supposedly top notch target doesn't have a better way of switching out an insert.
I'm not bothered by the brightness of the paint, but if I were I’ll bet I could sand down the paint until it was dull.

The tube is for holding in the inserts and the work well. If you can't get yours to line up, it may be upside down.. I haven't replaced an insert on one of the rinoblocks, but have on many of their other targets. Some times you need to wiggle the insert and tube around a little.
Yes the paint will come off on shafts. I'm sure you could scrape or sand it off without too much issue.
