hunt with a group of 5 other tradgangers (that you haven't hunted with before) who would they be.
Likely any of the moderators. Can't tell ya how much I have learned from them and appreciate what they do here. Sharing a camp with them would be a great experience.
Quite a few after that.....
Hard to say.
Many of the moderators and members are quiet people. You don't really get the chance to appreciate who they are just through this site.
There are many good people that contribute publicly only as needed, but behind the scenes are doing a lot to promote archery and the future of archery.
I would feel bad listing just 5, so many good people here I have yet to meet in person.
If I could put together a "dream team" it would include Dr. Ashby, Fred Eichler and Byron Furgeson.

Depends on the goal. Wanting to learn a particular thing, or to meet people who have had interesting topics.
I don't know what their names are but my picks would be;
A veteran. You can count on them and they know how to get the job done, whatever it is.
A newbie. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
A local. They have intimate knowledge of the hunting area.
A long-time archer. Their experience and knowledge is helpful to all.
And last, somebody with a strong back to help pack meat if needed!
With a group like that, there should be plenty of stories to share.
Any of the ones who keep their opinions of how I hunt and what kind of gear I use to themselves.
Vanilla,
Had a few bad experiences, Eh?
One that is a great cook, and good skinner.
whoever will go with me :campfire:
i tell you what, i have never met aonther t.g. member , so i would have to say i would hunt with any one who would have me. kinda same way i got married... just kidding.
Pretty much any TradGang member, as there have been good experiences with many. Although if given the chance I'd like to hunt with Vermonster because of his work with kids, mostly to pick his brain at the campfire. I work with Boy Scouts and Explorer Scouts occasionally, so I appreciate what he does for youth and archery.
Oh ya, and what Wind D Ranch said "And last, somebody with a strong back to help pack meat if needed!"
Ron
This will only be some thoughts...too many to actually pair down the list but....
Curt and Killy, for their writings; afterwards.
Texas Bubba, for his photography.
Chad K. Slagle, he might bring a guitar.
Fred Eichler, his enthusiasm is contagious.
Those are some thoughts anyway, still need a cook, skinner, etc.... ;)
Man, that is like goig to 31 flavors and being told you can only have one scoop! Just not fair I tell you!!! :biglaugh:
"Me" and "Myself" talked it over for quite a while and we decided we would most like to hunt with "I".
Anyone who who would like to sit around a camp fire and have a cold one or two after hunting and enjoys a good laugh. These guys are welcome in my camp.
Any 5 of TG women that would meet me at CK's
Any five who were my brothers of the bow.
Anyone with enthusiasm for watching arrows fly.
Mike...why just women?
Someone once told me after a disagreement we had that there is no one here that he would not share a campfire with. That turned a light on in my head. We disagree and sometime we learn the most from those we disagree with. I would like to go with some of those that did not like my positions or vice-versa - I won't list names - LOL. Then we could all see that we have much more in common than our differences suggest.
I know some TradGangers and have met several others and I can't think of anyone on this site that I wouldn't walk the woods or share a fire with. George Stout would be first on my list, as I've been reading his posts from even before the *********** opened up. We conversed back and forth a bit back then and I was hoping to see him at the PBS Banquet in Pitts.
There's a lunch gathering in the works for Compton, but how about a campfire, too. Everybody brings one piece of firewood.
