My buddy has a old 45# AMF recurve he bought to introduce his 13 year old son to archery. It has quiver bushings on the back of the riser at the top and bottom (and a stabilizer bushing also).
What kind of bow quiver (hopefully modestly priced) can he use on this? I'm only familiar with sidemounts and T/D systems.
I really appreciate your help. My friend was looking for a compound for his son, but decided this could be a better route for him. I compltely agree, and want to help make the transition workable for them.
Thanks,
Daryl
Limbolt quivers will work on it (just need to get some bolts) or a Delta quiver.
Thanks, Dave. That was the old, familiar name I was "mental-blocking" on. Now to search...
You could also just get any strap-on (like the ones Alaska Bowhunting Supply has), and not use the mounts....some inexpensive ones around to get him goinf. Eventually, you might get the correct one if you do the garage sale route, and 3-Rivers has the replacement parts (arrow grippers). Lots of options.
