I picked up this little bow off E-Bay for $180. This is a lefty Samick Hawkeye 62" 40@28".
I had a blast today shooting this little baby, despite 20 mph+ winds today here in Central AR.
At 15 yards, my fletching were touching near their mark on about every shot, even with some heavily spined CE 4560's.
No, it isn't the same bow as my BW PSA5, but I am quite happy with my purchase, just wish it would have had 45 lbs. limbs instead.
Really nice performing little outfit!

Congrats on your purchase. The Hawkeyes aren't a bad bow at all.
My Samick Hawkeye post is like Rodney Dangerfield used to say... "I get no respect at all". LOL
I'll have to wait till I can save up for an ACS and re-post, he he haw haw haw.
:biglaugh:
Aww, they just don't know what they're missing.
I like the looks of those Hawkeyes myself. The Koreans make good bows for an affordable price. I've been keeping my eye out for one at my draw weight. I see limbs on the auction site sometime, so I'll bet in time you'll get a chance to pick-up some heavier limbs for it. Enjoy and Congrats!!
P.S. My Wapiti LB didn't generate much interest either, except from me, so don't feel bad. LOL! I've got a Dave Beeler LB that will be ready soon, so I'll try again.
Sweet. Doesn't matter what kind. A new bow is just so darn fun.
I think those Samicks look like Habu's, and they both shoot arras.
Great looking bow. It looks like a Black Widow bow to me. I was wondering if it was Habu. Wonder if limbs interchange with Widows and Habus? Like Robert said, they shoot arras.
It is to our great luck gentlemen that the neo-trads think anything is junk unless it costs over $600.00. These bows shoot great....I mean great, not just good. You have to get past the fact that they are not expensive 8^).
Thanks again everyone, I knew ya'll were out there. Very well put George.
Let's see here.. I don't appreciate my little "adopted step-child" Samick Hawkeye ANY LESS than my DAS, Black Widow, Tolke, Dakota,or Tamahawk.
When we take the emphasis off the pleasure and move it to: place of manufacture, name of bowyer, or price only, it's a bit discerning to me.
Let those that are hung up on the Asian thing try to go to Wal-mart and attempt to buy something NOT made in China? Or simply read the parts list on that next new Ford or Dodge.
JMO, but why fight GRAVITY right?
I took the spray can to mine for turkey season. It's shooting 2215 Gamegetter II's that I found at a local sport shop for $19.99 per dozen already fletched with 5" feathers. They are getting out of the aluminum arrow business so I took two dozen off their hands 8^).
