Nice way to start the year, congrats.

Congratulations! If that doesn't motivate the rest of us, I don't know what would. (Maybe I'll carry a print in my wallet and pull it out when I need it for bucking up this spring . . . )
Good job! :clapper:
   ;)
Congrats. Give us details!!
Nice TOM, I am heading to my place in SW Missouri on the 24th, hoping to score too.
This is quite an accomplishment with a stickbow, a big congratulations!
Details,
Well called many birds in, called this one away from a group of 8 toms, 7 jakes and 28 hens. Came to my decoy....
Drew before he stepped out into the clear and shot him when he turned broadside... Tom ran 10 maybe 15 yards and was down. Pretty awesome feeling really.
Had a lot of other close opportunities, missed a jake and ruffled a feather on a tom immediatly there after on the last evening. Birds were still in big groups and tough to call, however were starting to come more redily.
Was doign both private and public land. This bird was shot on private. 4 of us had shot 6 birds in 4.5 days of turkey hunting with bows. Myself being the only stickbow guy. The other three guys being an Uncle, family friend I've known forever, and a neighbor who went along.
Leaving for Kansas friday. Hoping to use my blackpowder shotgun and the longbow again.... time will tell.
Thanks for the kudos......am pretty stoked about it!
Nice bird, well done and congrats! ;)
Good job Dan, and good luck in the sister state.
Way to go...T- about three weeks until I'm in the woods after those big birds.
