Title: Easton Tapered FMJ's
Post by: J. Holden on December 14, 2019, 01:12:05 PM
Anybody have any experience with the above mentioned arrows?  I've got a new bow on order and would like to try the arrows.  I like the GPI and the taper.  The price, not so much.  But, before I walk away from them I'm wondering if there's anyone who's used them and can say if they're worth the money or not.  There's a link below from the 3 Rivers website.

I’d definitely be interested in them had I already not bought a doz Black Eagle Vintage crested. A tapered micro diameter shaft would be nice, and still cheaper than the Grizz sticks. I also have some of the original Grizz sticks, giant tree branches but shoot well.

I am still shooting Arrow Dynamics in both the traditional and the Nitro Stinger varieties (also some Hammer Heads).  I bought a bunch of the Stingers and the Traditional back in the day so as not to run out.  They have always been great for me.  I never could get "friendly" with Grizzly Sticks.

I found the tapered shafts to shoot a good deal better out of all my BW bows. From experience, they will tune quite well for FOC and do a great job on deer and hog sized animals with good broad heads.

Just some thoughts
