A question for those more knowledgeable then me.
Will putting weight on the the nock effect spine? if so will it be negative or positive?

Yes, in fact Gold Tip used to offer nock inserts (maybe still do) so that internal weights could be added at the nock end, as well as the front end. When weights were added at the nock end, they increased dynamic spine.

Increases dynamic spin but lowers FOC. It also negatively impacts penetration, apart from reduced FOC, weight in the tail end will cause it to ossollate (wag) on impact causing a reduction/loss of momentum/forward motion.

Not necessarily. The purpose of adding weight to the back is to make minor adjustments to enhance tuning. Enhanced tuning should result in straighter arrow flight and increased penetration. I'm sure that if significant amounts of weight are added to the back, it could cause the problems you mention. In any event, the rear weights on Gold Tips were not popular, so I’m not sure they still offer the rear weight adapters. The weights themselves are the same weights that are used in front.
