My father picked up a 50pd at 28” 68” Lofton longbow marked Choctaw 1111... anyone have info regarding these bows? Thanks

That bow was made by Mr Bobby Lofton from Indianola Mississippi. Mr lofton made a very good working mans bow. Maybe not the best on fit and finish, but a very solid bow, that sold for a decent price. He always made time to talk to anyone about traditional archery at his booth at any of the shoots he set up for. There was a large Trad Archery event named for him in north Ms.. Mr Bobby passed away some years ago.

Thanks for input, that helps.

I have a Choctaw Chief that I had Bobby make. The prices on his bows were simply great. This bow shoots very well and is smooth and quick. #48 @ 28" 64" long. I will not let this bow go although I don't shoot it as much as it deserves.
