Darryl has been busy editing last winter. Water Buffalo Point Blank is about our Melville Island hunt in Australia's Northern Territory. It features Don Thomas, Dale Karch and myself. The late, great Bill Baker guides and provides back up and there is a tribute to him at the end.
If you like the thought of stalking dangerous game you should enjoy this one. We hope to have it availible in a month or so. Special thanks to 3Rivers Archery and TradGang for making the production possible. :)

Looks like another good one Denny!!
Looking forward to this one. Hopefully Dale will have some at Compton.
That should be an awsome video!
Can't wait.
Cheers,
Donavan
Looks like a "must have" Denny. The look in the eyes of the Buff on the cover is concentrated malevolence. Looks like a great way to seperate the chicken salad from the chicken ****.
I assume it can be ordered from 3Rivers? Looks like a must see.
Yep, plan to order a few for me & some mates over here. Looking forward to it mate, thanks.
AK.
Man just looking at that picture makes me a-skeered,lol. I think that's my ultimate hunt - hopefully I get to try it before I'm too old to run good. :scared:
I will have to check that one out. 3Rivers will have it?
Tremendously Titilating Topic.
Yes 3Rivers will have them availible.
Al, Made me sad to see Bill on tv and know we can't hunt together again for now. I treasure the times we had though.
Got any teaser clips you can show?
My once in a lifetime, dream hunt would be for Cape Buff or Water Buff so I'm definitely going to get that one.
Love the cover, too.
How about posting a trailer?....
Cool. I am planning on a similar trip, so this will be a must see for me.
Dan
Cant wait to see this DVD...wanna see who flinches first during the "mexican standoff" Denny and that buff have going on :D
Rod, I wasn't skeered - good climbing tree to the right. LOL
I bet Darryl will make a trailer when he is done balancing sound and making the master tape.
Denny had his boys behind him backing him up.....
"Boys?...boys?...where are ya guys?" :scared:
:biglaugh:
Hmm...climbing trees don't do me much good ....

:bigsmyl: Me either ! Much better for me to make my stand and shoot it out! :D
kool, can't wait...are you going to post a teaser clip on here???
Way Cool, Denny! If you and Daryl's previous work is any indication, this DVD is a must have! Let us know when they come out. We could use one in the PBS Lending Library as well...
Biggie, no redwoods in Australia? It was fun hanging out with you even if it was only for a little bit in Pittsburgh!
can't wait!!!!! awesome. PS: I should have gone..... :knothead: ron
awesome cover by the way.
very cool thanks for the heads up!
Cool stuff Denny!
I am waiting too for it
Looks good! I'd like to get a copy! ;) :D
Don Thomas took the jacket cover photo last year. It was cool to hunt with Don. I'd hunted with him before, but through his writings.
I never really felt in danger. Bill insisted on rifle back up. Not because we wanted it, but to ensure the protection of bowhunting dangerous game in Australia. It wouldn't have been good to have an injured hunter on Melville. I don't think Bill wanted an injured client either. The last thing in the world he wanted was to ever pull the trigger. I never even thought about anything but trying to make a good shot. Both trip were a lot of fun.
For those who can't wait to get there copy; 3Rivers is now accepting Pre-Orders for Water Buffalo Point Blank DVD.

I'm in. Does it come with a extra pair of unsoiled skivvies? Just might need em.
I once saw a video when a injured water buffalo charged a hunter, straight at the camera. Guide waited out the charge untill he had a clean head shot. He had to lift his foot up as the buffalo slid/piled up under him. It was the most impressive/intense hunting footage I have ever witnessed. You fellas who chase these beasts with bows have my admiration! Can't wait to see it!
