I was invited to hunt in the Ozark's by a buddy of mine. It was crazy cold, especially when your from Mississippi. I found a heavily used trail on top of a step ridge, there was a giant Walnut tree that was just perfect for my Lonewolf Assault. I was blessed to kill this doe, there were two others with her. I was using a 53# Pronghorn One Piece Longbow, 175 grain VPA Head mounted on a Carbon Express Heritage. Sorry for the poor picture, it was dark and I used my headlamp for lighting.
What a blessing. [attachment=1]

Way to go!
Does the one pc. Pronghorn feel similar as Herb's three pc? Quiet & forgiving.
Nice job in that doe. Enjoy the meat and the memories!
Dang Matt , ya coming up here killing all our deer ?..
Kidding man, congrats on the big doe , your pic is fine and I hope your drag was downhill , some of those hills make for hard retrieval's !
Well done, thanks for sharing
Nice doe, nice pic! Memories made.
Thank you for all the great comments. There is no doubt that the last week has been hard hunting, but the results was well worth it and very special. Thankfully she did not run down hill, she only went about 20-25 yards before collapsing. The VPA 3 blade left an amazing blood trail. I have ordered 5 Pronghorn longbows from Mr. Herb over the years. Two were 3 piece and three have been one piece. I like the way the one piece bow feels and shoots better. I like the weight with a bow quiver attached. The Pronghorn Longbow is very smooth and quiet. It's the perfect hunting bow for me. All of my Pronghorns have been 64 inches excepts for one, it was a 62 inch. For my 30 inch draw, I like the 64 the best. This is how the arrow looked as I walked to the point of impact. The blood was already on the ground at impact. [attachment=1,msg2895199]
Way to go sir! Good pic !
Great Job!! :clapper: :clapper:
Good arrow and broadhead out of a good bow. Two holes and blood on the ground. Congratulations on a fine deer.
Nicely done Matt. Out of state adventure, meat, memories made and a pic to commemorate it! A win all around.
Congrats and welcome to the Natural State [emoji106]
