The subordinate bucks are bigger than anything on the farm where I live. Lack of nutrition and public land pressure keeps it that way.

I am envious of you guys. Something possessed me to put my archery tag on a doe this year (god I don't know what I was thinking on that one, got caught up in the stalk and ended up finishing the job). So I'm sitting it out till Nov 16 when I can use my regular season tag on a buck. I'm going nuts here.

Changed up my arrow configuration a bit this week and am thinking I'm gonna bow hunt through gun season this year. No muzzleloader for me, even though that's my other hobby.   ;)
