I just received my DAS Master Hunter riser. I have the owner's manual that furnishes basic instructions on assembling limb set to bow. But I'm confused.
Limb pockets have two adjustable screws each. As it arrived, inboard on the limb pockets are screw-adjustable pins (brass sleeve) that are screwed barely into the riser. How far in should these pins be screwed? What is their purpose? What is the effect of screwing them in until sleeves bottom on limb pocket's Neoprene® pad?
I assume the outboard screws adjust limb set's draw weight. But if this is accurate, the confusing inboard screws must play a part here, also?
The small brass bushing in the limbs should be attached to the small thumb screws and tightened all the way to the bottom. These are the limb retaining bolts.
The large bolts that are adjustable for bow weight and tiller should never be tightened all the way down. There should always be a visible gap between the limb and the riser except where the small thumb screws are.
I'm a little confused also.You posted this on another site and got 8 very good answers with pictures.
