Just laid my Mountain Bike down the other day, banged up my wrist and shoulder. Having fun trying to get back to full draw. I'll keep working on it, four more weekends to hunt.
-
Yep, done things like that. :banghead:

Hope you heal up soon. I always like to have a light bow setup for just in case of injury.
-
Hope you have a fast, full recovery!!!!!

Sorry to hear that.
Give it some time to rest, it'll heal more quickly. Wish you full recovery for the season start.
-
Ice and Advil+time. G'luck getting back out.
-
Hope you recover quickly

I hope you get well soon! Be careful, we aren't kids anymore so we don't bounce back nearly as fast as we used to.

Thanks guys. I am loosening up my shoulder and the wrist doesn't mind the draw, only when I put downward pressure on it. My Government land permit is good for Whitetail until 24 November, then I have an exotics permit for hogs, goats, and axis until 3 May. So even if I don't hunt Whitetail, I'll hunt.

Hope your recovery is very quick

Sitting around transferring stuff into a, new to me, Bison Gear First Trip. Reveling in the "frigid" Texas weather (54*) and drawing my Big River 21st Century clone several times throughout the day, praying I'll get out soon.

You mean tee shirt weather don't you? Oh, wait...south TX...my bad. :biglaugh:
It's supposed to get UP TO about 54 here in Iowa tomorrow. Next week looks like HIGHS in the 30s! That's deer hunting temps! :archer:

Stuff happens, good luck with your recovery

Adjusting brace on my recurve and two longbows, all 66-71#, trying to get there. Can always fall back on the MOAB(longbow #3) which is a few pounds lighter weight. Interestingly, the 71# is 62" and seems to draw the smoothest with my shoulder. ???

The year I shattered the middle knuckle on my ring finger I tried to keep shooting. Even killed a couple of deer. Then one day two months later it broke completely and I was out of the game. Now I have limited flexibility with it, arthritis in it and wish I had taken the time to heal.
Point being, don't push it and regret it.

Thanx, my wrist is healing drawing bow doesn't seem to bother it. Now I'm trying to get my truck fixed, so I can get the 20 miles to Government land!!!
