Title: Newb question.
Post by: Doublegun on October 14, 2019, 12:33:49 PM
Ive been lurking on the board for several years, sometimes active but mostly just cruse by from time to time to see what's new.  I have a couple of quivers and a trappers basket that I want to sell but I'm not seeing any forum for that.  Are private sales forbidden on the forum?

Thank you,

JDG

You need to become a member (sponser?) to get into the buying and selling portion.  Keeps riff raff from that area.

I saw that but it appeared to me that forum was only for businesses, not individuals with an item to sell.

Thanks,

JDG

I think the problem is that the members sales sections are not visible unless you are a contributing member.  There are separate sections for bows, quivers, etc.  So members are allowed to sell things privately, in this area.  If you wish to become a contributing member, click on the yellow banner at the top of this forum.

Riff Raff?   Quite the attitude.

Actually, that's pretty much exactly why they started it. Requiring paid membership cut way down on the fraudulent buyers and sellers. If fraudulent buyers and sellers aren't riff raff, then I don't know what would be.

Thanks, the explanation nullifies the implication. There is too much elitist attitude on some forums and my challenge was hoping to limit that on this one. Happily the challenge wasn't needed.
