Title: Another blind question
Post by: MnFn on October 11, 2019, 01:35:19 PM
Hey boys and girls,
I am looking at a double bull blind and a muddy infinity. It looks like the DB is about $150 more.

For those that remember my special needs foster son Terry, I think this is the only way I can take him with me especially for bow hunting. He is just too figity .

Is the DB worth the extra dollars?
Thanks, Gary

Ok, I’ll reply to myself.  I did do the search and found some useful information.
One last question, do they stop the break the wind/ or hold much heat inside? I tried another cheap blind last year (borrowed it) and it was pretty cold. I guess that’s two questions, sorry.

Let me know how that works out! I’m blind shopping as well. Just can’t get the information I want anywhere.

It pays to get a good one ($$$) it will last years and in the long run, work better for you.

This copied from another thread....

"Not a big fan of ground blinds or pop ups...I do have a Double Bull. It has one issue to me, {other than the fact that they are now owned or made by Primos} for the money, and they want too much, it is not waterproof at all, In fact, sitting in mine during a rain is like being in the shower. Water drips right thru. maybe they tried to make it breathable, I don't know. Mine is pre- Primos. Primos is a name associated with Chinese junk and pi$$ poor customer service. I just think that for $400 you shouldn't be sitting in the rain and the material is so porous even waterproofing wont help."

Thanks for the replies.  I took a look at the Hidden Hunter Blinds, liked some of the features for sure.  Then I talked with Ron about them (and other  bowhunting stories as well)for about thirty minutes. Very enjoyable!
I think I’ll give them a call tomorrow.
