Does anyone know if any of the hunts that took place last year are going to be run again this year?I really enjoyed reading about them last year and would like to try and make one or two. I know it's early, just trying to get some ideas. Thanks Greg
Greg....Never to early to start lookin towards a Gang Get Together. You can take it to the Bank that there will be somethin goin that you can tie into. :jumper: :jumper:
We are doing our second annual Michigan Trad Gang hunt October 4th - 11th, we would love to have you come join us!
I'm sure the NJ gang will be hunting together again this year. We just had too much fun last year.
There is an opening for a bear hunt in June. There is a thread Bear QuestII that is on page 1 at this time.Kip
This is not strictly a TradGang hunt but you are welcome to come to the Southern Indiana Bowhunt (http://residents.bowhunting.net/sticknstring/2008JWBowhunt.html)
I know for a fact that my good friend from Pittsburgh, Darren "Hackbow" Shue will be there. We also had a couple guys from Jersey show up with a friend from PA last year.

Thanks for the responses. John What are the license requirements in Indiana? I saw on the link you provided that there is a 5 day hunting license and a deer hunting license listed for NR's. Would you need both? what does the deer licencse get you? Do you need an archery tag also? Thanks Greg
Greg, the Joan Leonard Memorial Bunny Hunt is held every year. It is the 3rd. weekend in Feb. every year. 2 day hunt and ya can stay at the house with about 20+ other Tradgangers. We had 66 the first day this year. The only requirement is ya belong to TG and ya have to bring something for our raffle. We raised over $3000 this year for the St. Judes kids. Shawn
Greg 3 of going to Manitobe in Sept. bear huning and fishing. They take 4 hunters per week and as far as i know their is still 1 open spot. PM me if you want more details

I'm setting up the 2nd annual Ohio Traditional Deer Camp from Wednesday the 29th of October - Sunday the 2nd of November.
Nothing too fancy, we will all use our own tents/campers and bring our own food. We had a blast last year! We had 9-11 guys there depending on the day.
It's 5 days of trad guys hunting together. The bonus for guys out of state is that tags are over the counter and not too expensive.
We will be hunting in SE ohio on AEP or Wayne National forest land. I will have to determine very soon for scouting purposes. Most likely AEP.

Will be turkey hunting here in May with some Trad Gangers. Always room for more.
About $150 I think. Go to DNR and ask them. That way you got backup if you got a bad answer.
Greg, I hunted with the Jersey winter bow group and I'm pretty sure we will be doing a fall bow as well as winter again. We had a great time and many expressed the desire to make it a regular thing.
