Be safe and good luck!

As a native Oklahoman, I traveled to my hunting grounds located in the south central part of the state yesterday. Thought I would hunt the next few days but the mid 90 degree weather, temps and forecast sent me back home, at least for a week.
Can you say (ThermaCell)??
Good luck to all!

It’s been extremely windy this morning so they weren’t too bad. But that also caused the deer to bed up in the shade soon after sunrise.

The high today is only supposed to be 80ish. We shall see.

We got close but not close enough to a couple does early on. Now that it’s cold outside am a out hunting? Nope! Work called and sent me to Colorado till nearly the end of the month. Bonus, I did get to see some snow already.

Well.......fast forward a couple of weeks and I found myself back down in southern Oklahoma.
This time the temperatures were more suitable for hunting, at least for me.
I was able to put in four days of good hunting and did see several deer on this trip. Saturday morning brought temps down to the low 30's and all was looking good. At 7:30 a.m. this girl stepped out and gave me a quartering away shot.
I was using a 60" Dale Dye, 52# at my draw. The arrows are GT blems with Stinger broadheads.
