I have narrowed my search down to these two choices.
Although the MFX's are a bit heavier per inch, I don't feel like they are worth the extra cost of $20+ per dozen.
What are your thoughts here?
Thanks in advance!

you talking about the mfx classics w/ the wood grain? they are a bit higher. the mfx team realtree is a a black version of the classic and its about 20.00 CHEAPER than the black axis and about 1 grain heavier per inch than the axis.
The team realtree's are my choice. From what I have found they are tougher than the axis. I would say the classics are tougher too. They are the same outside diameter but have to be thicker to weigh more. Imho that is why the realtree's are tougher than the axis.
I found the Classic's finish wasn't quite as smooth as the Axis or mfx. They make a very small bit of noise when being drawn across my velcro plate and shelf coverings.. So I like the smooth finish of the others better. JMO...
I wouldn't trade you 5 dozen Axis/FMJ for a half dozen of my MFX.
I shoot the Team Realtree MFX & honestly, can't find a bad thing to say about them. They're about the perfect hunting arrow.
Rob, I've not used the team realtree's. What makes them so much better than the Axis? I was under the impression that they were pretty much the same shaft..
MFX..all the way!!!!! They fly like darts in my bows!!!! :)
Thanks everyone, I am leaning on going with the MFX team realtree.
