Does anyone have a recipe for making sticky wax for making flemish strings - I have bees wax but not sure what and ratios to mix

The wax LBR(Chad) makes and uses is good. I don't know what his recipe is but you can smell the bee's wax in it. Being a string maker Chad knows about string wax.

Tried "googleing it up" (as my Dad says)... found several videos and instructionals.
Looks like most folks cut the bees wax with something that makes it stay soft (lanolin, pine rosin, etc.). I thought it was cool that some were melting it and pouring into empty chapstick tubes. Looks like Traditional Bowhunter Magazine had an article on making bow string wax. That might be the best place to start if you can find the article.

I use a mix of 70% beeswax and 30% mineral oil. Heated and blended over a double boiler. Stays sticky indefinitely.

I think someone mentioned a mix of bee wax and wax ring for toilet...

I use a pound of beeswax and one toilet bowl ring for what I consider a perfect string wax mix.
