Hi guys. Its been about 4 years since I've really been checked into this site. Finally got a home computer so I can finally keep up with things. I started out just playing around with trad archery for about 2 years and the last 2 years I've been hunting with my recurve bow after selling the compound bow. Not had any luck getting a deer----I start thinking too hard about the shot and have either missed or not taken the shot when it was available. Just not enough confidence, I guess. But, when I don't think about and over-analyze the shot, good things can happen----Check out my first trad kill--a female coyote on a steady trot at 32 paces from my tree-stand: (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bgeckle/hunting/BishopMail2.jpg)
Hopefully this works :)
Thats a good shot!
Welcome back. Nice shot.

Nice shot. Yotes are hard to shoot with a bow.
Thats not a coyote - it is a back quiver! Welcome back!

Amazing! Your first trad kill? Sheesh, I am over 100 trad and have yet to take a wiley yote. Everything down hill from here. I'd say your off to a good start.

WOW! great shot and welcome back...
Nice shot and coyote! That should add to the Confidence Bank.
Good to have you back in the game!
Welcome back! :clapper:
Doesn't look like you need to worry about your ability with the bow, but I'd guess future deer need to be scared, very scared!! Great shootin' and welcome!! :clapper:
P.S. I'm a transplanted BuckEye myself, originally from Cleveland. Family now lives in Middlefield.
You got yourself one of the toughest trophies in North America! Deer will be a piece of cake after that - welcome back!
Nice shot! Welcome back to camp!

I sent the hide out to be tanned and when it comes back I'll be looking for some help in makng a back quiver out of it---I think that would be cool. :archer:
