I contacted Jack Kempf the beginning of June about building me a 56" 48#@28" Kwyk Styk. I sent him some myrtle veneers I had gotten from the Wood Vault and left the rest up to him. This is what I received today in the mail.

Sweet bow! I bet it shoots good too!

Fred, that's a real beauty. I had a 56 incher that I sold during a weak moment some years back. I was shocked how well it worked with a 30" draw.

Very nice. Most of the time Bowyers can best decide what woods work together and this shows it!

Jack sure knows how to build them.  I think you'll get along with this one just fine

That's a very good looking bow. Congratulations!

Can you please PM me Jack's website or how to get in touch with him?  I can't find anything on the Web.

1/4 if you dont mind can you send me the info as well. I have been looking heavily into takedowns and really like the shooting characteristics of the forward handle/belly mount limb designs

				Looks great Fred!

I saw Jack at the Alberta Traditional Bowhunters Association last weekend.  I have been shooting my quick stick every day since then.  They are an awesome bow.  Thanks Jack!  You should have some good luck with this bow.
