Come early...can get CROWDED..!!
Always a good time and if you are camping, there's no need to pack food. They have very reasonable food prices.
Now that ETAR is over, this is what I am looking forward to.
It's on my calendar. Can't wait.

Comin' up boys..
Coming up fast.
4 of us coming down from Maine. How early should we get there to make sure we get a camping spot? And if we can't get a spot at the shoot are there any campgrounds nearby? We will be tenting.
It's a popular shoot, but I can't ever remember the campsites filled up. Doubtful, but not impossible . There are local campgrounds, Gray Squirrel Campsites is probably the closest.
Coming the whole way from Maine!!!!! :o
Wow, you will certainly be the furthest traveled to the shoot. I guarantee you'll have a good time.
you should be fine for Thurs set up...
I have a very good friend in Middleburg, PA, which is stones throw from Beavertown. I should make the effort.

Evan, it was a 'blue bird day'; got there around 10am. Met up with 2 Johns(Sweka and Getz. Signed up for the weekend; met Dennis and his two brothers who came down from Maine. Shot my old Bighorn Ramhunter longbow along with Bruce, John Sw,, Tim, George and Darren. Excellent target set up, thanks to Craig, John, and others. What a beautiful day to be in the woods at Shade. Always a great walk. We had a grand time. Lunch time with burgers, dogs, and brats. Then course two, which we added Gary to the mix. Great timing, as the course was pretty clear of shooters. This one took awhile and I was starting to 'wear out'; Finished up around 3:20, said my 'good-byes, and headed home. Will be back in the morning with my buddy Rex; Hope to meet you finally. Have a safe trip.
