YOU CAN'T DO THAT!!!
I can't sit glued to this computer for a week!
-
Aww man, now we have to wait. Not fair!! LOL
-
so, let's guess.... I think they're going to bring out an ILF riser... shaped like a real longbow rather than a recurve. (Well, I can dream, can't I?)
what's your guess?
-
Man Law! Full disclosure must be given at time of tease.
-
Man Law my pawtoot! This is marketing. .LOL
I will give you a hint. I doesn't involve me wearing a thong but it does have pretty tips.

What's the P and T Expo?
-
I got an idea about this. If I'm right then I believe you guys better get your wallets out. Jason's got his eye on the market and his finger on the pulse of traditional archery. I believe he want's to make his mark and with Mike's tutelage and support he won't go wrong.
Maybe I'm incorrect, we'll see. :bigsmyl:
-
Actually it's T & P Archery Expo.

PS..... Thank God it's not the thong thing again.

-
Terry,
Sent you an email.
Dick,
Dang bud, it would have been nice to put a face with the character on the internet.
Mike

Neener, neener!! :bigsmyl: I've seen it, and I think ya'all are going to like it. Here's a hint, She's quiet unlike most women.
-
Dano,
Now SHHHHHHHHHHHH! Seems to me you got to fondle it too.
Mike
-
:bigsmyl: And she was still quiet. ;)
-
:bigsmyl: That's all I've got to say!
Terry
-
Yeah, but she was flat,
...shooting that is!
And Jason was dead on.
I can tell more, but I'll wait.
Terry
-
Marketing. HA HA HA HA! :biglaugh: Mike! You kill me sometimes.
-
Now Tom, a guys gotta eat. LOL
Let me see, hints so far.
Not a thong, but has pretty tips.
Quiet, unlike most women (even when fondled by Dano).
And Flat, shooting that is.
Yes she might be flat but she also has some beautiful curves.
Mike
-
GA! that's so unfair Dano got his hands on her first!?? :p
The handy guys get all the shooters.
I think I'll just got turky hunting with my daughter! :goldtooth:

Looks awesome Mike!!
Wish I could be there to try out a lefty...
-
Well, since the cat is out of the bag, what I like the best is that the longbow limbs enterchange with the curve limbs. Same riser with two different bows....Very cool and a sweet shooter to boot!...Nice job, Jason
Terry
-
WOW!! Very nice profile, static tips and a generous brace height...not often seen together. Can you do that with a horn belly and carbon back? Hehehe...just a little food for thought. You could call it stone age meets space age.

If it's the same one, I shot her with LB limbs at ETAR! She is a quiet, sweet shooter!
See ya Saturday :bigsmyl:
-
Yep Curt and we have a lefty to try too. A very sweet 44# screamer.
Going to have four Orion LB and three Orion Curves at the show for sale plus a customers Orion with both sets of limbs.
This bow can be made to shoot both LB and Curve limbs on the same riser. But because they are made by hand and not CNC, you can't just match any riser to any limb like the big guys do.
Mike
-
ohhh a curve! As I am looking at that picture of Jason at full draw, I am can't help but to notice a similarity between some of your design elements and that of the asian horse bows. Was this intentional or coincidence?
What lenths does it come in?
Wish I could be there to test some. I love your bows.
-
Derek,
We love the look of the radical static tip and always look for a full working limb. So the asiatic look just happened.
We got a lot of help on this one from Brent at Black Mountain Bows. He is the resident expert on statics as far as I'm concerned.
Right now it's a 58" but we will have 56, 60 and 62" limbs in the near future as soon as we can work the formulas.
Mike
-
Looks like I better start saving to send my Orion back to have recurve limbs fitted ... and it ain't even here yet. :) Maybe I can shoot her awhile first, but I'll have to have both.
-
what do static tips do for a bow? Why would I want them?
-
Wow I bet that baby is a screamer.. :)
-
Guy's and girls, this is the quietest recurve I have ever had the pleasure of shooting, and she's fffast. This ain't no sales pitch, just a pat on the back for Jason.
-
Danny,
You can save a few bucks if you have the curve limbs done at the same time. That way when we fit the limbs we don't have to refinish the riser.
Derek,
Like most of what we do it has historical significants. I fell in love with the static built in the 30s and 40s by Grumley and others. I guess Jason inherited the inclination. Brent helped answer questions and here we are.
Trust me you'll like it!
