I have a friend that has a Bear Kodiak Deluxe recurve Serial # 1-A-631 and he is seeking information on the year that the bow was made. he inherited the bow from his dad. Anyone have any idea of the year that it was made? Thanks for your help.

Serial numbers are not very reliable for dating old Bears, but pics would sure help.

the crystalight bearglass kodiak deluxe and kodiak special deluxe were only made in 1960.

I scanned both TBM stories about the bear bows :bigsmyl:
