Thinking about using the goldtip pierce micro shaft for hunting, what are your thoughts on this shaft?
I've been using them for about 4 years now and really like them! You can still bend the halfsert if you hit something really hard but you can pull them out and replace them pretty easy.

X2 what logan says he actually turned me onto them ...great arrows for sure!
I used them last year, I really like them.
I have shot a few other micros and am a fan. Haven't shot Pierce yet, but actually ordered a dozen today for a new setup I'm putting together. I'll let you know how they do but feel confident you can't go wrong! Especially with the two you have endorsing them above!
I have a set that I tuned up for some long range 3D stuff, and I've been pretty happy with them. I've shot them twice now at the Prime Total Archery Challenge, and by long range, I'm talking 60-120 yards! Which means I miss a lot, and hit trees, stumps, rocks, and burry them in the dirt. They have held up quite well. Ethics Archery has an all stainless steel insert and collar system that I think will hold up better than the aluminum, and will get the weight up to my hunting standards. I actually just ordered some to try, because of how durable these arrows have been, I might hunt with them.
I have been using them for over a year now for indoor, 3D, and hunting. I have shot them with the Ethics and the Valkyrie components with great success. I tried some 23 series "fatties" last winter for indoor and found my scores were higher with the micros. They appear to be quite durable so far as well. I am shooting them with 4-3" wild turkey feathers.
