Title: Straight Limb ASL calculations just for fun
Post by: elkhunter45 on May 30, 2019, 05:13:39 PM: I have 4 ea .090 tapered .001 and one belly veneer that is .030. I will be using .050 glass totaling .490 . I will be 1.125" at the fades and 1/2" at the tip. The length will start at 70" and will have a 14" riser. Anybody care to guess what weight this will come out @ 28"?

Post by: elkhunter45 on May 31, 2019, 04:15:32 PM: No worries Monterey. Lol. If it comes in light I'll cut it to 68" and if too heavy I'll trap the limbs. I have built several Rd longbows, but I have no experience with the Hill style.
