All I'm seeing is the prices for shooting and camping. I'm just interested in walking in . Not shooting or camping.

It is not much to just come in and not shoot. Not sure exactly but it is like $5 to $8. Something in that range.

There is a great Saturday evening planned,  featuring Monty

This man has traveled the world with a longbow. Done it all, seen it all. Written about it, told of it. ⁣

He really needs no introduction. Growing up, I would scout the table of contents in Traditional Bowhunter Magazine, and immediately flip to the pages containing his pencraft. I've been with him to Alaska in the pages of his book, ran through the bush into the midst of cape buffalo herds in his chapters, looked for a tree to climb or stick to wave in the face of aggressive bears. ⁣

Monty Browning, Compton Life Member, adventurer, bowhunter, storyteller.⁣

Monty will highlight our speakers at the upcoming Rendezvous, and you will have two opportunities to hear him. His Friday afternoon seminar, titled "Getting Close to Dangerous Game" begins at 2:30 and will be great listening for all of us marginalized by our families for an attraction to closing the gap to within paces of any animal with the equipment and disposition to make that stalk our last.⁣

His Saturday evening talk will be squarely centered on this bull of a lifetime, and final trip to the Alaskan bush in pursuit of these giant ungulates. ⁣

For those of us who have been fortunate to listen to Monty speak at other events, it's mandatory listening. For those who have not heard him sculpt a good story, just take our word for it!⁣

Can't wait to see and hear Monty again. I will be in Brothers of the Bow booth with Barry Wensel. Please stop by to check out my "Chasing Solitude" moose hunting film, and Barry's new advanced whitetail hunting tips video called "Out and About." Compton's is always a good time. Mike

I'm thinking of taking my grand kids this year. Children used to get in free and had special events just for themselves, but I forget the ages. Does anyone know?

Also added to that vendor list will be:

Artsy T. Starkey (Terrie Starkey)
Tom Norris of Bearfoot Traditions
Surewood Shafts
Professional Bowhunter's Society
Sabamba Alpaca Ranch and Bed & Breakfast
RealWild 3D (formerly R&W Targets)
KC of Traditions Leathercraft

Additionally, we had Brothers of the Bow on there but also wanted to clarify Mike Mitten of Herd Bull Productions will be there with Barry - a package deal as most of you are familiar with.

I think that's it as far as add-ons go for now. Going to be awesome.

Non-shooters are free. Just confirmed with Kenney yesterday.

I just pulled into the campground Thursday afternoon to visit some friends (not to shoot).  I had to buy a $5 "Observation Pass" to get in.  Told them about this thread, but they said they needed to collect it...

At least it is good for all the days,  but I didn't want anyone else to be surprised.

Dang. I apologize for the misinformation! Gonna have to get on Kenney for that one. At least it's only 5 bucks though.
