Title: Lost and found, medallion.

A few years ago, I noticed the medallion on my Bear Super Kodiak was missing. I figured it dropped off at some point while hunting and would have to find another to replace it. (Or stick one of my buffalo nickels in the slot). Thiss morning while reading tradgang, my five year old grandson walked in and said Memere found a treasure coin in the garden. Figuring it was a nickel, I almost told him to put it in his piggy bank. But, he dropped it in my hand.
I immediately ran for my bow to show my g'son and wife what the "coin" went to. It's a bit rusted, but still usable.
What surprised me was the coin has Fred Bear's bust, not the standing bear that I thought they all were. Was his bust common on the medallions?
I think my bow is a 2004-5 if that helps.

I’ve only ever seen the bear medallion.  But I haven’t looked at any Bear bows newer than the 70’s
