I have two kids bow forms in progress here and would like to know what you all think about the profiles. I'm afraid that they might be too radical. Especially the one (it's obvious which). The black lines drawn in represent the 52" mark with the intent of 50" NTN bows.
Please hit me with your honest opinions and suggestions. I got thick skin and I respect the collective knowledge here.

I think either would be fine. Looks like the more radical one would accommodate a shorter riser which would make it lighter in the hand and give you more working limb.
But you know the saying.....build one and let us know :biglaugh:

I'm no pro but the only thing I can think of is with a exaggerated reflex it seems like it would be hard for a kid to string on their own. I do like the shape of the second form though :goldtooth:

I really like the 2nd one also ,but also had thoughts of it being hard for a kid to string , but you could teach them to use a stringer !

I have taken to including a stringer with all my bows. Hopefully people use them. The only bows I string myself without a stringer are ASLs that are so easy to push/pull.

Bottom one would be my pick, a bit more range with it. Maybe to the second neighbors house even . LOL

I like the bottom one too. In fact it's a scale down of my 60" RD design. I'm a little concerned about where the brace height is going to land with that much reflex!! Any ideas on that?
