Can anybody direct me to some plans or sketches of a bowyers bench? Foot puts pressure on the bow.

I made mine similar to the pic above but I used plastic saw horse leg clamps you get from Lowe's or Home Depot. I think I used an 8' 2x8(cut to 6' for the main body) and an 8' 2x4(cut in 4 pcs for legs). The knucklehead I made from oak and I added a screen door spring to keep the jaws always open.

Anybody still have the old The Bowyer's Journal magazines? Brian and I disassembled mine and did a how-to article on building one with parts lists, dimensions, the works. I still have those magazines put away somewhere. Finding them is the problem  :dunno:
