Title: Carbon Express 90 and gold tip entrada 600
Post by: Lemont on April 03, 2008, 04:19:00 PM
i have a 45# deflex reflex and a 50# deflex reflex the 50 will shoot the 90bareshaft perfect full length or a 150 cut to 29" both with a 125 gr tip. the 45 won't bareshaft either and for the 90 i even tried a 120gr hand made brass insert with a 145gr tip and 5gr washer total 270gr still spined stiff but it was close i think with a 175 or 200 gr tip it might work with this set up. now the gt entrada 600 it will bareshaft perfect out of the 45 with a 125gr tip.
and with 5" shields shoot a magnus 125 to the same point of impact and the as tested weight of the entrada with wrap feathers and tip total weight was 346.1gr the 90 with insert washer tip and nock was 547.5gr and thanks john at sipsy river for your time and patience and info you gave me great people and great fast service

just thought this info might help somebody out

also the entrada is 30" and 90 is 29" if ce will make the shaft a full 31 or 32 i think it will be a great shaft for the 40 and 50 bows but i really like the entrada 600

Great info Lemont, thanks for the mention.
Word from Cx is that the 90 will soon be 30", that is the max length they can make this shaft and maintain the desired standards.

I shot a guys CX 90's and they flew great with me shooting 48 lbs, but I draw 29.5 and was drawing the arrow all the way up on the shelf.  Sipsy, I do hope they make them 30" long, I may be able to shoot those.

I wish someone would make a 600 spine carbon in a 32" length. It would be great for target/3d for me.

Lemont, I too shoot the 600 entrada full length with an arrow wrap but use four 3 inch feathers and a 125 grain fieldpoint. I shoot them out of a 42 lbs.@28 inch BlackCreek Banshee and they fly like darts with field points or Zwickey No-Mercy broadheads.
