Just got on the list for a River Runner from Chad Holm. Going to get his new Kodiak Static recurve, a 58" model. Going to be my hunting bow to hunt out of my Waldrop pac-seat. Also going to be a dual shelf.
-
Ron that should be awesome. Let’s see her when she’s done!!

Looking forward to seeing it. Congratulations!
-
It should be real nice, Ron!
-
I’m going with brown glass on the back, spalted tamerind on the belly. The riser will Birdseye Maple with a Bubinga “I” beam. It will have a dual shelf and I know Chad will use his skills to create a great hunting bow.

Ron
you won't be disappointed.
-
Congrats Ron! You're going to like it. Have you ever shot one of Chad's bows? :saywhat: :readit: :help:
LOL
-
You will need to post some pics!
-
I thought you were done buying bows Ron
-
Sounds really nice. One more to add to to the Chad Holmes stable of yours.
-
Isn't there a limit on the number of bows a person can have in Georgia & is that the reason for that new shed ?(bow storage ?) :biglaugh:
-
Ok Ron, you need to stop! I’ve been holding back from pulling the trigger with Chad, but I have a bad feeling this one will put me over the top! Please don’t post pics!😥
-
:dunno: Well, I have most of his other models so it’s only right I get one of these. :biglaugh:
-
I suppose, Can’t argue with that. Sounds like reasoning I would use with my wife......:)
-
I think Chad is a great guy and one of the most talented Bowyers out there. Congratulations! That’s going to be a sweet hunting rig. Ron, you need to stop holding out on us and post a pic of your Holm-Made Inventory. I know you have one.

Thanks KAT, well the bow came and I am very pleased. great fit and finish, Chad nailed with my choice of woods. 43#@29” but performs like it’s more. Beaver tail grip , dual shelf, and shoots great on both sides !!!
-
Very nice!
-
That’s a real nice looking bow, choice of woods spot on. Let us know how she shoots.

I am really pleased how this bow came out, even more pleased with how it shoots. Left or right hand this bow shoots like is 3-5 heavier than it is. Very quiet and smooth as silk. I have said it before, Chads bows will shoot with the best of them and better than most !!!
-
Great looking bow!

Nice Mr Ron my Brother in law would love that joker!
-
Great looking bow Ron. Glad you are pleased with it
-
Very interesting bow, Ron. I was in Chad’s neighborhood a year or two ago and wanted to stop by his shop, but we couldn’t make our schedules work.
I’ll have to try again.

Great looking bow Ron! I bet you are right about the performance, those static curves seem to add more zip!
