Title: Cedar Ridge side quiver
Post by: Ulysseys on March 24, 2019, 10:15:34 PM
Anybody use one of the cedar ridge quivers?  I'm thinking seriously of going to a side quiver for hunting and these look pretty nice.  Bow quivers seem to get in my way any more.

Been using one for several years now.

Fantastic craftsmanship and works great with my style of hunting

I'm mostly a treestander with some ground mixed on, think it'll be cumbersome in the tree?

Are you talking about this one which is called the "Cruiser" I believe.
I use it for target practice or 3D shoots but sure it could be used with a single blade broadhead. There is another model Art carries that would be better but as far as how well is made well this one will be around for years and passed down to my girls . Only problem is I need to get it back to Art to have another arrow added on and a new pocket due to adopting a 3rd little girl 6 years ago. Those arrows represent our girls and scripture Psalm 127:3-5

Absolutely not. I've used my Powderhorn quiver in both situations. When in a tree stand, I've always hung it up on a hook or branch. Easily can be swung behind you when climbing in and out

I haven't used the Cedar Ridge quiver--and man are they beautiful--but I use the Asbell side quiver for almost all of my hunting.  In a tree stand, I simply hang it beside me on a hook.
