I've got a 29.5" draw and one of my all time favorite bows is my 60" Kanati. It's only flaw is that it's not a 2 piece. I do a lot of Mountain Hunting and having the ability to take the bow down is a must , so I can use walking sticks to pack a load down the mountain.
Looking for opinions on what bows you think might feel similar to the Kanati but that come in a 2 piece option.
my preference would be the sleeve system as I have owned several and love them. I have no experience with the bow bolt system.
Thanks Gents
Someone can put a bow bolt in it. But it would be painful to think of someone sawing into one of my Kanatis!
I have wondered the same thing. I think I'd go with a Centaur if I really wanted a 2 pc. He has a nice looking takedown system. (never had a Centaur but it look a lot like a Kanati)

I will suggest the JavaMan Elkheart with the bow bolt system. I shoot a 58" with my 30" draw and love it.
I love the Centaurs but I don't like the take down systems that requires a tool. If Centaur used a system that didn't require an allan-key I'd own one!
Any Kanati owners ever shot a Toelke Whistler?? they look very similar.
58" Big Jim Thunderchild
Is the finish even dry on your thinderchild? We may need to arrange an intervention for you mate.
to me the Java man Falcon is similar. I own a 60" Toelke Whistler and is a nice bow. Those Kanatis are built like tanks ,with an awesome natural point grip.
Hurst bows out of Montana. Uses the bow bolt.
Those Hurst bows look pretty cool
Check with Mike Miller, Crookedstick bows, good dude and very nice bows.

I've never shot or owned a Kanati, but I can tell you the whistler is the finest bow I've tried. I'm shooting a 60" with 29" draw. Will eventually get a 58" takedown as well.
Have had 15 Toelke's, last two being Whistler's. They are 58" at my 29+ draw. My next Whistler will be a 2-piece with Dan's bow-bolt system. A touch faster than the Whip but just as quiet. An absolute joy to shoot.
