Are they still in business? I know that last year or do they were having done production issues but I've tried to contact them recently haven't gotten any response.
I think its kind of hit and miss with those guys. I read on here at times of guys ordering and receiving a blind. I have not had the same luck. I ordered one more than a year ago...over the phone. He took my card number address etc and told me I would see charges when he shipped it. Never saw charges, never got a blind. Tried calling a couple times, no luck. Looks like a great product but service sucks.

They have a video online with a new blind.
1/4 away, Ron LaClaire posts, and is a sponsor here. I'm sure he could answer any questions you have about Hidden Hunter blinds.
Took me about 10 months to get mine but he did keep me posted on what was going on. I did have to initiate the communication, but he always called me back. The blind was definitely worth the wait. He's had all kinds of illness issues with the ladies that sew for him apparently and it has really put him behind.

I don't see a new blind. Just the 2 different sizes and camo patterns. I know they had trouble keeping a seamstress and it took me about a year and a half to get mine. Totally unacceptable, and the communication is definitely substandard by any measure, but the blind itself is the greatest I've ever used. Goes up so quickly and quietly, I can put it up in the morning in the dark and not have to leave it out where someone is going to walk off with it. Shoot my 69" longbow in it with ease.
I didn't see a new blind either. I was really hoping to get one of these blinds. I'm going to give it one more attempt at contacting them and if that doesn't work I'm going to explore other options.
I'm sorry but we will not tolerate slamming people that were near death just a couple months ago.
There is no excuse for treating people like that period ...not just on Tradgang.
I need to clarify a little bit because my Intent was not to kill this thread....
I had to remove a blatantly disrespectful post.....
Carry on...
You have to watch through to the end of the video to see the new blind. It is introduced at the end. 7 sided. Looks good but at 5'8" it may be a little short for some longer bows.
Great blinds and I've killed my last two turkeys with a bow from them. The people who run this are the salt of the earth and as good as they come. They watch over the Shrewhaven camp for us. Obviously it would be great to have more production and believe me that would do nothing more than tickle them pink. For ease of setup there's nothing better.
Success! I've gotta 6x6 Hidden Hunter blind heading my way.
👍👍
I just talked to Randy, he said they're doing better on the blinds now and they're about a week out on orders. They're had a horrific winter in the U P this year. Snow depths from 36" to 42" on the ground. A lot of roofs have collapsed from the snow so Randy said they've either been plowing snow or shoveling it off of roofs which has taken away from blind production. They're making two sizes of blinds now the 6X6 is the bow blind the smaller one is for gun hunters.
A larger blind may be in the works but it's still in the development stage.

:notworthy: Fred how about some feedback when it comes??
Sure thing Mitch.
Great to hear....

Hidden Hunter blinds are of amazing quality. They are a regular tool in my bag of tricks. The folks who designed and build them are some of the finest people I have ever met. Criticism of their customer service aggravates me. They are regular people, not some huge Big Block store.
Great bird and great looking Trad Tested blind!!!
"I'd love to order one but I keep hearing that there's no guarantee I will ever receive it if I do. Such a shame.."
Horse feathers,
Give Randy a call, 906-774-9009. If you don't get him try again later.

EXACTLY. They aren't Cabelas or Bass ProShops. These are regular folks trying to make a few dollars on a hobby business. Quit the negative comments.
Pointer, I placed my order on Monday afternoon for a 6x6 in Fall Gray predator camo which they had in stock. Randy said it would ship out by Wednesday the latest. FedEx says it will be here today.
My Hidden Hunter blind was just delivered. I will play with it tomorrow in the daylight and post my initial impressions.
1/4 away.. thats great. Post after you've set it up..curious if you think I could use a really long longbow out of it. I was diagnosed with cancer recently and had to drop way down to 35 or so lbs and the longer bow helps me draw. It's a 70" model...I wanted to use the Bear Montana but I was drawing it last night and it was more painful than I want. Turkey season is just weeks away now and I'd like to use one of these blinds if it will work with a bow that long.
Well yesterday's wind wouldn't cooperate so I had to wait til this morning to set up my Hidden Hunter. Now to be completely honest I don't have a lot of experience with pop up blinds since most of my hunting is done from tree stands or natural blinds, that said the HH is the fastest blind I know of to set up or take down. In less than 30 seconds it was up and I was seated inside it with my Millenium seat, bow in hand. It takes down just as quick. The blind is extremely well made and roomy enough for 1 person. 2 people with seats and equipment might be a little crowded. I love the 3 vertical windows for shooting a bow. I was a little concerned about the metal rods on the floor as mentioned in other posts they were a non-issue and they didn't interfere with my seat position. Shooting my 60" Baraga out of the HH was a breeze. With my 66" Sprague I had to be more aware of how I canted the bow but it was definitely doable. In my opinion I wouldn't shoot anything longer than 66" out of it for fear of hitting the blind with a limb tip. The blind comes with 3 shoot thru screens for the vertical windows although I will probably take them down when hunting. I love the FallGray Predator camo and the material is not shiny at all. The inside of the blind is black and has a couple of pockets for some small gear. There is also a flap to cover where the hooks that secure the blind connect so that no light gets in. There is also a flap at the top as well. Transporting the blind is easy. When collapsed the floor rods connect to a hook at the top of the blind and the whole blind forms a "U" shape so that you can either carry it by the rods or throw the rods over your shoulder for transport. For me, The Hidden Hunter has all I could want in a ground blind. I can't wait to use it this season.
👍👍
Great review Fred.
Fred I knew you would like it. I have one and love it. Hopefully they will keep making them. Every time I find something I like, they discontinue it. And made in the USA.
Fred I know that wind was whipping but you should of set in up in your Living room Brother and see what your wife would say..
Or was this another one of those secret toys you ordered without her knowing about it ? :biglaugh:
P.s. When I want to buy something for myself I contact my buddy 1/4 Away for advice on how to cover my tracks!
Keefer, Actually she bought it for me for my upcoming b-day. :bigsmyl:

I talked to Randy today, he said they're working on the new XXLg blind and hope to have it available soon. It has 7 sides making it wider inside and 2" to 3" taller. I've hunted out of a prototype XXL up there for the last 2 seasons and I really like the bigger blind.
I talked to Randy yesterday. He explained what happened to my order and made things very right. He is a good guy with a great product and has everything lined up now and is not relying on outside help to get things done. I should have my blind shortly. In time for my birthday and a couple turkey trips. If you want one, order with confidence.
thanks....I looked at a few others at Sportsmen warehouse and passed think ill pay the bucks and not have any buyers remorse
