After following the Primal Tech pass-around bow thread I decided I wanted one for myself. Well, she arrive earlier this week and would like to introduce her to the gang, first of all I would like to thank Randy(Crittergetter) for everything he has done for me during the bow building process, top notch in every way and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for that style of bow!! Her specs are #47@28 62", Buckeye Burl/Walnut Burl riser, Buckeye Burl limbs with kudu overlays. Here are a few pics, I will post some more in the future, haven't been able to see how she shoots because of work but will give an update on that when I get to shoot.

She's gorgeous! I'll be posting a similar thread when I get some pics taken of my Primal Tech. I just got it Monday and got to shoot it a little on Tuesday. I'm still working on getting some arrows that will work with mine, but I love the feel of the shot with mine. Congratulations on a fine bow!

Thanks for the kind words everyone, its been tough not shooting the bow yet, working overtime this week to pay for her!! Like I said earlier Randy at Primal Tech was top notch through the process, he kept me constantly updated with pictures and comments/suggestions while he was building my bow and took the extra time to find the wood I wanted and to make sure everything was to my specs. I will give an update when I finally get to shoot.

Not only is Randy an awesome fella, but i have followed his handiwork from when he was a hobbyist bowyer here on the bowyers bench, through to the inception of his business.
His quality of workmanship has always been outstanding.
Additionally, he is certainly an out of the box thinker.
one day when i am big, i too will own one of his bows :notworthy:
but in the interim, i will have to console myself with simply ogling the pics of his handiwork!
-
I’ll go ahead and break the news to you. It will be one of the best shooting bows you’ve ever shot!
I’ve owned several top end ones and it’s without a doubt the quietest and mild mannered bow I’ve owned!

Congrats!
That bow is a looker.
That Buckeye Burl looks like natural camo!
Enjoy. :archer2:

Amazing!! That bow is beautiful and blends into the dead grass perfectly

Daniel, do you have the three piece or a one piece/two piece ?
longbow or recurve?
i certainly wish i was a 3 piece kind of shooter, cos Randy's 4 piece bow is absolutely amazing!!
i just love the simplicity and lighter in hand mass of the one piece bows.
-
Rodney, your patience is amazing! I’d have a string on that thing before i even got the box ripped off!! Lol
Fuji, Daniel has one of my older 3 pieces. The only difference is the newest limb design has a slightly better draw cycle. I gave up about 3 FPS but it was worth the trade off. Quietness and lack of handshock are the same
-
awesome Randy- and hate to encroach on the thread- but many thanks- and well done
-
Randy, the string went on the day it arrived and I have drawn it many times, feels great in the hand and the grip fits my hand perfectly, I was planning to shoot today after work but the wife made other plans. Definitely going to shoot tomorrow after church!!

I have his 3 piece! Hope to get a 2 piece next. Just can’t decide yet!
His 3 pieces are top shelf. I’ve not shot one that didn’t have manners yet, and I’ve shot all of the types he makes.

Thanks mate! :campfire:

Randy does make an awesome bow!! Y'all need to tone down all the talk about what a good guy he is though, his head doesn't need to get any bigger than it is. :biglaugh:

I finally got the chance to shoot the new bow, it is definitely the quietest bow I have ever shot!! The grip fits my hand great and it has respectable speed in my opinion, but I'm not concerned about the speed, all of my shots are under 20 yards so I would much rather have the quietness than the speed. I use the Beeman Classic 500 skinny carbons with the brass inserts and my total arrow weight with the broadhead is around 510 grains, the bow is #47 @ 28.

That is soooooo nice!
