Title: help! stolen bow
Post by: dgil on March 07, 2019, 06:29:32 PM
Hi all,

just throwing it out there. I had my LH A&H ACS 3pc lb stolen out of my truck in Sonoma, CA two nights ago. It's 51# @ 28 with a sbd black and purple string and silencers. Selway bolt on quiver w/4 GT Kinetics in it..

Please be on the look out for it. I've got the serial # and pics as needed.

Thanks in advance.

File a police report in Texas the pawn shops have to send a list of all items taken in to police before they can offer for sale CA may too.

Sorry to hear about your bow being stolen. I have a spare ACS Handle that you are welcome to borrow if you can find some limbs. Just ask to get it back when you can replace your lost one. Hope I can help, good luck finding you bow,
Big Ed

File a police report if you haven't. Pawn shops are required to submit weekly reports of items they have taken in (at least in Michigan) to their local police departments. Keep an eye on craigslist and ebay. If you fail to make a police report then nothing can be done.

Not much in this world is worse than a thief. I think, particularly at the felony level, jail sentences for theft should be LONG. I hope your bow turns up.

As previously stated, file a police report, call or visit pawn shops in your area, monitor craigslist and the big auction site.

Sorry to hear. I simply can't comprehend the mind of a thief, and have zero tolerance for that sort of activity.
I had my house burglarized many years ago and the feeling is definitely bottom of the barrel.

Thanks for the kind words and generous offer of a loaner riser.  I'm fortunate to have a spare bow (or 2), but nothing worked like that ACS for me.  I've filed pd report, hit all the local pawns, spread word to all our local shops and clubs and offered a reward flier.  Now I just cross fingers.
