Title: Best way to store arrows in the lid of a Pelican case?
Post by: Gdpolk on March 02, 2019, 11:43:17 PM
What's the best way to attach a couple dozen arrows to the lid of a Pelican case?

My thoughts are to cut the foam on both ends to make clearance for the fletchings, then make parallel slits lengthwise in the foam about 1-1.5" apart, then use double sided tape to hold all the foam slats in place and just wedge the arrow shafts in the cuts.

That said if there's a better way I'm all ears. I'm putting together my travel kit and the only thing left that I'd like to do is stash an extra dozen or so arrows in the lid. As it sits I have my bow, quiver with arrows, knife, binos, arm guard, glove, and game calls in the bottom.

They sell tiny metal clips, even plastic or foam clips too, especially for arrows.

Three rivers has them.

Ones on right are expensive and doesn't say the quantity.

Prolly other places carry the metal clips, lowes, home depot, etc.

You can email Lakewood product s and see if you can buy a set of their holders.

You can also buy some cheap foam (I use yoga foam), drill it then cut it.

Something like this looks to be pretty perfect. I'll see what they can do for me.
